Florida State University is on track to graduate its largest class in history in Spring 2025 and expects an unprecedented number of graduates to cross the stage and receive their degrees.
To accommodate this historic number of graduates, the FSU has scheduled six ceremonies for May 2-3, 2025. The festivities will begin with a doctoral hooding ceremony at 9 a.m. May 2, followed by five ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. May 2, and 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. May 3.
Limited Seating and Ticket Allotment
Given the volume of graduates and their families, seating will be limited. Although RSVP invitations have not yet been sent out, the expected number of graduates will likely result in a high usage rate of tickets. Consequently, ticket allotments for the five undergraduate and graduate ceremonies will be limited to four tickets per graduate. We ask that graduates who need less than four tickets request only what they need. We will reassess ticket availability after the reservation window closes.
Live Streaming for Wider Access
Understanding the significance of this event for graduates and their families and recognizing the seating limitations, the university provides a livestream of all ceremonies. This ensures that family members and friends who cannot attend in person will still witness this special day.
